 A five-year- old Arab national girl has died after falling from the ninth floor of her building balcony in Dubai's Al Nahda area.

The incident took place on Sunday, December 8, as the girl was in her apartment balcony. Parental negligence has been cited as one of the reasons for this tragedy.

Indian social worker Naseer Vatanappally told Al Khaleej Today that the case has been registered with Al Qusais Police Station, and police is currently investigating to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police has warned parents to exercise caution while leaving their kids inside balconies.
