The tournament will be held in Tunisia between December 15 and 27 and will see the Carthage Eagles compete with Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Lybia for the top spot.

Rabie Yassin is holding a closed camp with some of the potential players to participate in the qualifiers and made sure to call-up Ramez Hafezallah who impressed with Championship side Millwall.

Yassin confirmed that the Egyptian FA (EFA) contacted the player and his club on October 4th. The reason behind the call-up was to see him perform in a friendly game to assess his abilities.

However, there was no response and the youngster, who also holds the Moroccan nationality, decided to represent the Atlas Lions instead, as confirmed by Yassin.

In their letter to Millwall and Hafezallah the EFA stated that they wished him to join them in order ‘evaluate him technically’. They also informed him that he will have to pay all the expenses regarding his travel and accommodation.
