Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell has been withdrawn from England’s squad to face Denmark in the UEFA Nations League tomorrow night. The FA confirms that former Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kieran Tripper has also left the squad.

Chilwell missed the Wales friendly last week after breaking coronavirus protocols after attending Tammy Abraham’s birthday party with Jadon Sancho and failing to take part in Belgium’s 2-1 win on Sunday due to illness.

An FA statement said: “Ben Chilwell and Kieran Tripper have left camp in England and will not be available for the UEFA Nations League game against Denmark on Wednesday. That leaves 28 players for Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad on match day. ”
