- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly earned a hard-fought victory against a resilient Tanta side in the Egyptian Premier League’s 30th round.

The first half had very few real chances from both sides with Al Ahly dominating the game in possession but not finding any openings in the final third.

The Red Devils’ first real threat on goal came at the stroke of half-time when they thought they scored the opening goal of the game.

Ahmed El-Sheikh sent a chipped through ball to Mahmoud Kahraba who chested it down and unleashed a venomous strike that beat Tanta goalkeeper Mohamed Ashraf.

However, the goal was checked by the video assistant referee (VAR) and was ultimately ruled out for a handball on Kahraba before the half-time whistle.
