Liverpool assistant manager, Pep Lijnders, believes that new signing Diogo Jota will be on the same level as the team’s attacking trio.

Liverpool’s front three, Mohamed Salah, Sadie and Roberto Firmino, are considered as being one of the deadliest trio in European football.

Their efforts helped the Reds in their recent exploits, winning the Champions League and Premier League. However, they were seemingly irreplaceable as the coaching staff always struggled to find a proper replacement which affected the team every time one of them was missing.

This encouraged the club to sign Wolves and Portugal winger, Jota, who can complement the trio thanks to his technical abilities, according to Lijnders

“What can I say? His technical level is on the same as our front three,” he said.

“He has so much future in the game and he will have a great pathway inside our club. He’s like a pressing monster, so he will fit in straight away.

“We played against each other when he was very young. In Portugal, they all say what a great signing Liverpool made, because they know exactly how he is and what kind of potential he still has.
