Thank you for your reading and interest in the news James Rodriguez 8.5, Dominic Calvert-Lewin 8; Kieran Gibbs 3 – Everton v West Brom player ratings and now with details

Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - EVERTON RATINGS: Jordan Pickford - 6: Started badly when his poor footwork almost gifted West Brom goal in first 30 seconds. No chance with two wonderful strikes from West Brom. A couple of decent stops as well, although still remains unconvincing at times. Getty

Lucas Digne - 7: The recipient of a relentless stream of cross-field passes from Rodriguez and a real attacking threat down the left. Hit the bar with a second-half free-kick. Lovely first-time volleyed cross almost set up Richarlison late on. Reuters

Seamus Coleman - 7: Good performance down the right by Everton's captain. Often left isolated in first half with Rodriguez not particularly keen on defensive work but stuck to his task. His run and cross helped set up Calvert-Lewin's opener. Reuters

Michael Keane - 7: More convincing at the back than his central-defensive partner. Grabbed his second goal of the week after stabbing home the rebound after Johnstone had saved Richarlison's header. Headed an earlier chance over the bar. AFP

Yerry Mina - 5: Woeful defending for West Brom opener. Backed off and backed off to allow Diangana free shot on goal. Could have proved costly had Gibb's madness not turned the game on its head. Getty

Allan - 7: A rock in front of the back four and, as teammate Keane said earlier this week, the Brazilian is "a defender's dream". Drove one long-range effort straight at Johnstone. Looks made for the Premier League. AP

Andre Gomes - 7: The Portuguese might not get the same plaudits as certain teammates but played important part for Everton here. PA

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 7: Powerhouse in midfield, constantly chasing, tackling and harassing opponents. Booked in first half after the lively Diangana had him look a bit silly after flicking the ball over his head. AP

James Rodriguez - 8.5: The Colombian certainly has a fantastic left foot on him. Superb finish from edge of area on brink of half-time despite being surrounded by defenders. Cross helped set up Calvert-Lewin's second goal and his corner supplied the striker's hat-trick. Constantly switching play from right to left with quality cross-field balls to Digne. Deducted half a mark for making the most of Gibbs' moment of madness by hitting the deck very quickly holding his face, also not exactly enthusiastic about tracking back - but that's not what Ancelotti signed him for. Impressive. Getty

Richarlison - 7: Will be wondering how he did not score. Saw teammate Calvert-Lewin steal one goal-bound effort off him and was denied by the linesman's flag after a magnificent finish into the top corner. Always on the move and causing Baggies' defence problems. PA

Dominic Calvert-Lewin 8: Missed a glorious early chance when he headed Rodriguez cross wide from six yards. But was not to be denied with a clever backheel finish for this first, a toe poke on the line to seal a goal-bound effort off Richarlison for his second and a finish off his back to complete the hat-trick. PA

SUBS: Gylfi Sigurdsson - (On for Doucoure 65') 7: Slotted straight in with the team already dominating. Produced one sumptuous cross-field pass to help set up an Everton chance. EPA

Alex Iwobi - (On for Calvert-Lewin 71') 6: Little impact after coming on. Getty

Moise Kean - (On for Rodriguez 78') NA. Had one chance which the Italian put wide. AFP

WEST BROM RATINGS: Sam Johnstone - 6: Never a good day if a goalkeeper concedes five but little blame on his part, to be fair. Left particularly exposed in second half as Everton made extra man count going forward AP

Darnell Furlong - 6: Had his hands full dealing with Everton's regular attacks down his right flank. AP

Semi Ajayi - 6: A tough afternoon up against Everton's attacking threats. Reuters

Dara O'Shea - 6: Produced some excellent balls out of defence, particularly in opening half. Gave away ludicrous corner in first half which Everton failed to capitalise on. AP

Kyle Bartley - 7: Some vital headers and interceptions but, like the rest of the defence, was over-run at times in second half. Reuters

Kieran Gibbs - 3: Cost West Brom any chance of coming away with three three points with a crazy attack on Rodriguez. Granted, the Colombian made the most of the incident, but if you push someone on the face, you can have no complaints at being shown a red card. AFP

Jake Livermore - 7: Was a key player in West Brom's fine start to this game. Unlucky to see shot hit the post and also produced some crunching tackles. Reuters

Romaine Sawyers - 6: A mixed bag. Worked so hard throughout although one awful short pass in his own crowded penalty area in the first half almost handed Everton a goal. AP

Grady Diangana - 8: What on earth were West Ham thinking of letting this man go? A fantastic first half where he tormented Everton from the first minute. Brilliant run from in his own half - although aided by terrible Everton defending - and cracking finish to put his team 1-0 up. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side. AFP

Matheus Pereira - 7: Absolutely stunning free-kick just after the break that gave Pickford no chance. He and Diangana give the Baggies hope going forward. Reuters

Callum Robinson - 6: Some good moments from the attacker although faded as the match wore on. PA

SUBS: Kyle Edwards (On for Diangana 71') 6: Hard to make an impression coming on when your team are 5-2 down and being ripped apart. AP

Matt Phillips - (On for Pereira 71') 6: Match was over by the time he was introduced. Getty

Sam Field - (On for Sawyers 75') NA. AP
