Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s Fantasy Premier League (FPL) price for the 2020/21 season has been officially announced on Friday.

Salah has had another incredible season with the Reds, guiding them to a Premier League trophy after a 30-year drought.

The 28-year-old netted 19 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League this season, four goals shy of top scorer Jamie Vardy.

Despite showing consistent form in Liverpool colours, Salah’s FPL price took a surprising hit from last year even though he managed to score 233 points in the 2019/20 season.

His reduced £12.5m price from last year has now been decreased to £12m, as confirmed by FPL’s Twitter account, putting the Egyptian at a very good value ahead of the upcoming season.

FPL’s announcement also included a couple of African players, including Salah’s Liverpool teammate, Sadio Mane, who was also valued at £12m, getting a £0.5m increase in price from last season.

Crystal Palace’s Jordan Ayew was listed at £6.0m as his value could make the Ghanaian a reasonable option upfront.

The 2020/21 Premier League season has been confirmed to begin on Saturday, September 12th.
