The Premier League have announced the nominees for the 2019/20 Player of the Season award which included three of the Liverpool star, with the Reds hitman Mohamed Salah not being one of them.

Despite having a lower scoring season than the prior two, Salah managed to end the season being Liverpool’s highest scoring player with 19 goals in the Premier League in 2019/20, while also hitting double figures in assists after delivering 10 assists.

His contributions have guided Liverpool to their first league title in 30 years and their first-ever Premier League trophy since its formation in 1992.

Southampton’s Danny Ings notable displays weren’t forgotten by the Premier League as he also made the shortlist, as well as Burnley’s Nick Pope who was the goalkeeper with 15 clean sheets, only second to Man City’s Ederson.
