Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Egyptian Premier League side Aswan have signed Ghanian midfielder Solomon Mensah from Shabab Al-Sahel along with Rwanda’s Jean-Claude Iranzi.
Aswan have had a rough start to the season as they currently sit 18th on the league table with 12 points in 15 games.
They will attempt to strengthen their squad ahead of the second part of the season by signing the duo.
Mensah started his career in Ghana where he represented three different clubs before moving to Lebanese side Shabab Al-Sahel in 2018.
He stayed for one season in Beirut where he helped his side finish fifth. Now halfway through his second season he has signed for Aswan on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Iranzi will sign a six-months loan deal coming from Rwanda giants Rayon Sports.
Both players might make their debuts when Aswan hosts Ismaily in the league on Monday, February 3rd.
