The Egyptian national team have commenced their 2020 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a huge victory over Kenya.

The tournament lasts until the 7th of February. The winner is guaranteed a place in Tokyo this summer for the 2020 Olympics.

The first half ended in a two-goal lead for the Pharaohs before they added another seven goals in the second half to clinch a massive 9-0 win.

Egypt were drawn in Group B along with Angola, Mozambique and Guinea.

The Pharaohs’ upcoming game in the tournament will be against Angola on Friday, January 31.
