Zamalek manager Patrice Carteron has named his 19-man squad for their clash against Primeiro de Agosto in the CAF Champions League.

The White Knights drew 1-1 against Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday as they sit third in the standings and trail leaders Al Ahly by nine points.

Despite their domestic struggles, Zamalek have already secured qualification for the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after playing out a goalless draw against TP Mazembe.

Patrice Carteron has included Mahmoud Gennesh who has been out of action since the summer after rupturing his Achilles tendon back in July.

The French manager also opted to rest several key players including Ferjani Sassi, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Abdel-Shafy, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala, Hazem Emam, and Mahmoud Alaa.
