Speaking about his goal, Trezeguet expressed his delight after scoring while revealing that his goal was the outcome of a routine in training with Ahmed Elmohamady.
“I am really happy to score the goal that sent us to the cup final,” Trezeguet told beIN Sports.
“The goal came from a routine that I worked on in training with Elmohamady and on the pitch, I said to him: ‘far post’, but in Arabic, so nobody understands.
“It’s a great feeling, playing at Wembly in my first year at Aston Villa is a huge achievement, especially after defeating a big club like Leicester City,” he added.
