Thank you for reading the news about Hamada Sedky denounces Al Hilal president’s accusations and now with the details

- Yasmine El Tohamy - New Smouha SC coach Hamada Sedky has slammed the president of Sudan giants Al Hilal Ashraf Al Cardinal after the latter lashed out on him for leaving the Sudanese side midway through his contract, announcing that he is filing a complaint against him.

Sedky was appointed as Sudanese giants Al-Hilal manager on December 11, taking charge of the club in two CAF Champions League games. He helped them earn a historic victory in Tunisia over Etoile du Sahel, before suffering a 2-1 defeat at home.

However, a few hours following the latter defeat at home, it was announced by Farag Amer, Smouha’s president, that Sedky will replace Hossam Hassan as the club’s new manager.

The 58-year-old manager’s decision caused Al Cardinal to heavily criticise him in public, saying that he escaped his responsibilities.

“I categorically refuse abuse and accusing me of fleeing the club. I would like to highlight the lack of professionalism from Al Hilal in dealing with me from day one regarding the contract details and decision making power,” Sedky wrote on .

“I tired to contain the players’ anger over their substantial rights like extending their expiring contracts and match bonuses.”

“What is between me and Al Hilal fans is love and affection. I wish them good luck, I also wish the players and technical staff the best of luck. I know that Al Hilal fans understand my situation and that I hoped to continue with them.”

“What is between me and Al Hilal chairman is a complaint that I will launch for breaching the contract terms. He has to revisit my coaching record before showing up in TV.”
