Thank you for reading the news about Ali Maaloul elected as Al Ahly Player of the Year and now with the details

- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly have revealed that Tunisian right back Ali Maaloul has been chosen as the club’s 2019 Player of the Year.

Despite having been left out of Tunisia’s national team squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Maaloul has had an impressive season at club level.

His 11 goals and 13 assists for the Reds guided them to their 41st Egyptian Premier League title. And even though the club’s unconvincing performance throughout the year saw them get knocked-out of the Egypt Cup and the CAF Champions League, the 30-year-old was quite consistent.

Up until now this season Maaloul made 10 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing four assists. Helping them win all of their 10 opening league games thus far and are now second in Group B of the CAF Champions League.
