- Yasmine El Tohamy - Uganda international Derrick Paul Nsibambi has returned to Smouha having left the club since after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nsibambi initially joined Smouha in June 2018, however after a difficult first season he left the club after the Cranes’ endeavours at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In the time since, he has been looking for a new club but to no avail despite talks with clubs such as Mbarara City and KCCA in his native Uganda, Azam and Simba in Tanzania as well as other clubs across Morocco, Algeria and UAE.

As a result, Nsibambi has returned to Smouha for the remainder of the season. The Ugandans agent said “We reached an agreement with the club because they needed his services and for the good of his career, he has returned to serve diligently.”

He will hope to make his debut in Smouha’s next game which is against Wadi Degla on Wednesday 8th of January at 5PM Egyptian time.
