Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Zamalek have sent an official statement to the Egyptian FA (EFA) demanding the appointment of foreign referees in all of their remaining league games.
Zamalek secured their first league win since December 12th when they beat Aswan 2-0 thanks to goals from Mostafa Mohamed and Ahmed Sayed ‘Zizo’.
During the game, the Whites midfielder Tarek Hamed was sent off after receiving a second booking meaning that he’ll miss at least their next game against Tanta.

A few hours after the final whistle, the club announced on their website that they have sent an official letter to the EFA, demanding foreign referees to officiate all of their upcoming Egyptian Premier League games.
In their statement the Whites claimed that the refereeing committee, presided by Khaled El-Ghandour, is bias towards the team’s opponents.
Further, it also suggests that referees are deliberately disallowing goals and not giving away clear penalties. While in the meantime making decisions that favor the opposition.
They concluded their statement by saying that El-Ghandour is leading this conspiracy due to the fact that Zamalek chairman, Mortada Mansour, notified the public prosecution of hate letters that he’s been receiving hate from the former.
Zamalek now sit fourth on the league table with 18 points, nine behind league leaders Al Ahly. They will visit 14th-placed Tanta in their next game on January 5th, with the kick-off set to take place at 17:00 local time.
