Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - RIYADH – Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in Riyadh on Saturday, Saudi Press Agency said.
Japanese premier, who is leading a high-level delegation from his country, was received by Emir of Riyadh Faisal Bin Bandar, top Saudi officials and Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom at King Khalid International Airport here.
Abe is also scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates as part of his Middle East trip to further enhance cooperation between Japan and the Middle East.
The Japanese PM is also expected to unveil his country’s plans to deploy maritime forces in the region.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Abe is expected to meet with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.
