New Song | The Shabbat Family Sarah – Come Home...

When I heard the extended Shabbat family sing along “Come home, memories are brewing on the stove, let’s close your eyes a little, let yourself breathe” I felt a little shiver in my back. For them, I guess this is a much more chilling situation.

Apparently this is just another song, the third single from a project called “Shlomi Shabbat and Friends” which has already released hits this year such as “Lowering the Moon” with Eliad and “What Are You Going Through at Night” with Eden Elena (5.3 and 1.4 million views on YouTube respectively).

By the way, if the name of the project sounds familiar to you, it is because this is already the third album that Shlomi is launching under this title. When the first, from 2001, contained the hit “For Everyone” with Lior Narkis, and entered the list of the best-selling Israeli albums of all time.

‘Come Home’ was supposed to be another song on the album, but in light of the new reality in which Shlomi contracted Corona and was hospitalized, words like ‘Come Home’, and ‘Let Yourself Breathe’ take on a different, more painful and realistic meaning.

“In these complex days that we are all going through now,” Shlomi writes, “there is nothing that warms my heart and strengthens me, like the music and support of family, friends, my audience and all the people from Israel and the world who flood me with endless love that is not obvious.”
