When the 13-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu complained of frequent stomach aches, her parents took her to the VGM Hospital in Coimbatore.

A scan quickly revealed a ball-like object in her stomach, consisting of human hair and plastic debris from empty shampoo packets. The girl had reportedly started to consume the objects after being upset due to the death of a close relative, which accumulated and caused frequent pain.
 
Doctors initially tried to remove the foreign particles via endoscopy, but decided to operate when their attempt failed.
 
According to surgeon Gokul Kripashankar, him and his team conducted the operation, which was successful in dislodging the objects in the girl's stomach.

He confirmed that the girl has fully recovered and is normal.
