A 13-year-old Yemeni girl died in Egypt as a result of continuous torture by her uncle, including beatings, violence and electric shocks.

The girl’s mother stated to “Cairo 24” that the girl’s father (Liqaa. C), after their long separation, left the matter of raising his three daughters to his brother and his wife, during his absence from home and his work in the United States.

She added that the girls’ uncle, who lives in the Faisal area of ​​Giza governorate, “continually beat and tortured them, until the eldest girl was killed as a result of the various methods of torture visible on her body.”

The girl’s mother indicated that her ex-husband left a request from his brother to torture and beat the girls, “on the pretext of raising and educating them.”

She said that her children “were tortured every day by beatings and electric shocks.”

She added that her children did not tell her this when she met them during intermittent periods, “out of consideration for her feelings and for fear of the grief that would afflict her after knowing her.”
