The General Authority of Meteorology announced the details of the expected weather from Friday, January 7, 2022, to Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Where the weather tends to be cold during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, tending to warm on southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, very cold at night on all parts, reaching the point of frost on central Sinai.

Friday:

Thick watery mist that reaches the level of fog on Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

There are also chances of light rain in areas of Halayeb, Shalateen and the far south of Upper Egypt at intermittent periods.

Saturday January 8:

Dense water mist from approximately 4 to 8 am, on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

Sunday January 9:

Wind activity on areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and South Sinai at intermittent intervals, with light rains of approximately 30% over areas of South Sinai, the northern Red Sea Governorate and the far west of the country at intermittent intervals.

Monday January 10:

Wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and South Sinai at intermittent intervals, with light rains of approximately 30% over the areas of South Sinai and the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen at intermittent periods.

Tuesday January 13th:

Wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northwest coasts at intervals.

Wednesday January 12:

Wind activity all over the country.
